EPPO - Database on Diagnostic Expertise

EXPERTISE LIST

This section provides a list of experts and personnels competent to diagnose a specific pest using a specific method, in diagnostic laboratories performing official analyses in the EPPO region. According to PM 7/98, an expert has a combination of deep knowledge in a specific field, long standing experience and particular cognitive skills. A competent person is able to demonstrate that he/she can perform a particular task successfully.The expertise of each expert / competent personnel (i.e. the pests they can diagnose using specific methods) is provided. The database may not be exhaustive.

How to add your expertise to the database?

Data can only be entered by authorized persons (login and passwords are required).
To obtain a login and password:

Check that your institute is not already registered in the database (if that is the case, the contact person of your institute will be able to provide you with the necessary codes).
